Nonprofit / Road Safety Advocacy
Building a Road Safety Nonprofit's Digital Presence: 20,000+ Monthly Visitors
- 20,000+ monthly visitors
- 15%+ increase in online donations
The Mission
AUADD works to reduce deaths and injuries from distracted, impaired, and reckless driving across the United States.
AUADD asked us to serve donors and advocacy partners while giving affected families and journalists access to road-safety information.
The Challenge
A single homepage could not answer each audience in full. We separated donation, advocacy, support, and media paths so visitors could reach the relevant material.
Journalists and advocates needed sourced statistics and research summaries they could cite.
What We Built
Audience routes. The homepage introduces AUADD’s mission. Navigation then directs donors, advocates, affected families, and journalists to separate resources.
Road-safety resources. We organized statistics and research summaries with enough source context for journalists and advocates to cite them.
Donation and advocacy actions. Visitors can make a one-time or recurring donation and join campaign actions.
News and media center. Journalists can find press releases, a media kit, and spokesperson contact details.
Phone support. We tested the donation and reading paths across phone screen sizes.
The Results
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Monthly visitors | 20,000+ |
| Increase in online donations | +15% |
Editorial lesson
Donors and journalists need different proof. Donation pages explain how to help; research pages show sources and publication context.
Search brought readers to AUADD’s road-safety material. That content helped the site reach more than 20,000 visitors per month.
We also built the AUADD Flutter app for iOS and Android.
